How PlaneLists helps Aviation Medical Examiners reach pilots whose FAA medical certificates are coming due.
Yes. PlaneLists finds pilots near your practice whose FAA medical certificates are coming due, using the FAA's public airman data, and mails them a postcard from your practice every month.
Most AMEs rely on the FAA's AME locator and word of mouth, which only reach pilots who are already looking. PlaneLists reaches pilots before they start looking, with a postcard timed to their renewal that puts your practice in front of them while they decide where to go.
We do. After you sign up, send us your headshot, logo, office details and booking link, and we'll design your card within one business day, with a QR code to your appointment page.
Yes. You set the radius around your office (up to 200 miles), the certificate classes, and how far ahead to look. You see the pilot count before each campaign runs.
Self-Service is built for Senior AMEs, but any AME can use it. HIMS-designated AMEs can choose the managed HIMS program instead.
Self-Service is $149/month and Managed HIMS Growth is $450/month. Postcards are $0.97 each, printed and mailed, on both plans. See full pricing.
No. You're billed only for cards actually mailed.
Month-to-month, no contract. Cancel anytime; your plan stays active through the end of the month you've paid for. Partial months aren't refunded.
It applies to Self-Service. Run campaigns for three consecutive months, mailing at least 100 postcards each month (or every eligible pilot in your area, if that's fewer). If you're not satisfied for any reason, cancel before your fourth month's billing date and request your refund. We'll refund all three months of subscription ($447). Postcards already mailed aren't refunded. Once your fourth month is billed, the guarantee no longer applies. One guarantee per practice.
Self-Service is a dashboard you run yourself, with a postcard we design for you. Managed HIMS Growth is run for you: a regional HIMS market review, HIMS-specific postcards refreshed every 6 months, campaigns across a 200-mile region, monthly summaries and quarterly review calls. About Managed HIMS Growth.
On Managed HIMS Growth, yes among HIMS AMEs: we don't onboard a competing HIMS AME in your region. Self-Service doesn't include market exclusivity.
From the FAA's public airmen database, which we refresh monthly. Federal law requires the FAA to publish airmen's names, addresses and certificate information; pilots who asked the FAA to withhold their address aren't included.
They come straight from the FAA's airman records, refreshed monthly, so they're as current as the FAA's own file. An expiration date tells you when a pilot's medical runs out, not where they'll renew. Every pilot coming due in your area gets your postcard; some will go back to their previous AME, some 3rd-class pilots will move to BasicMed, and some will stop flying. Your postcard makes the difference with the ones who haven't settled on an AME yet.
No. We work only from the FAA's public airman file and the practice details you give us. We don't receive or store patient medical information.
Pilots typically book 30 to 90 days before their medical expires, so most responses come in months two and three.
Ask new patients "How did you hear about us?" It's the simplest way to see which pilots came from your postcards.
No. PlaneLists AME is for Aviation Medical Examiners. Aviation market data and aircraft intelligence is a separate PlaneLists product at app.planelists.com, with its own plans.
